Mascara is a cosmetic product which is used to beautify your eyelashes. It thickens and curls your eyelashes. It can also lighten, darken, or color the eyelashes accenting the natural beauty of your eyes. Using Mascara takes some time and effort to get used to but once you master this skill, it becomes no hassle at all and becomes very gratifying.

Mascara is applied to the eyelashes only after your eye make-up is finished. Your eyelashes should be really clean and dry before applying. Start by curling the eyelashes first as to avoid clumping. The motion of application should be from in-to-out of the eye. The strokes should be done gently if you want to get the right effect.

To avoid those spider-looking lashes, the Mascara should be applied carefully and correctly.  The Mascara wand should be wriggled from left to right at the eyelashes’ base. Applying Mascara to the roots create the impression of your eyelashes looking longer. The Mascara wand should be pulled through the lashes slowly so that each eyelash is separated making your eyes look more stunning.

Different mascara colors match different eye colors. Blue mascara matches blue eyes while purple mascara matches brown eyes. Black mascara generally works best for everyone although fair-skinned blondes usually look better with brown mascara.
